SAC = Semi-Auto Carbine © Australian Automatic Arms

About
The AAA - SAC was a continuation of the Leader Dynamics T2 rifle series, after AAA purchased the rights and moved production to Tasmania. The most significant difference, from the T2 is the absence of the carrying handle.

The SAC is a semi-auto, short-barreled version of the SAR. The SAC was available in the United States to Class III dealers and law enforcement agencies only. In the United States it is narrowly possible a few of them were imported in time for NFA registration before the 1986 Firearm Owners Protection Act. The AC was only available to Class III dealers in and law enforcement agencies.

The gun was offered with either a 20 or 30 round magazine. USA imports shipped with a 20 round magazine. The furniture was made from fiberglass Zytel.
